Google has begun rolling out their latest update, the new Android Market for Android devices. The user-interface has been completely overhauled in an effort to enhance app discovery. In alignment with what’s been done so far with the Android Market Online, the market now lets you browse new content lists like editor’s choice and top grossing.
Additionally, a few new features have been added including the ability to instantly rent movies and buy books straight to your Android device. As of this initial release date, these two features are only available to U.S. users (but of course we hope it expands to all international users as soon as possible).
Note: the new Android Market update is rolling out only to Android devices running Android 2.2+ and should reach all users worldwide in the coming weeks.
